
Annapurna Region in Nepal is the second famous trekking destination after the first famous trekking destination Everest Region. Sprawling with total area of 7600 square kilometers spreading around Kaski, Mustang, Manang and Lamjung distrits, Annapurna Region dominates the central part of Nepal. In regards to the level of geographical complexity, this region is accessible with ease and reaches as high as 8091m of Mount Annapurna starting with altitude of 790m. Inscribed as Conservation Area in 1986 it provides eye-catching vistas of highland mountains and lowland villages. The three major routes in Annapurna Region are : Jomsom, Annapurna Sanctuary and Annapurna Himal. Some of the world famous trekking trails in the Annpurna Region are Ghorepani Poonhill Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek Jomsom Muktinath Trek , where tourists from across the world flock every season.
