These short treks are famous trekking and hiking destination of Nepal however there are always very less people who choose this trek for this holiday because the trail is isolated and lonely but Nagarkot hill station is very busy place in terms of easy access from Kathmandu / Bhaktapur and also best to watch the Himalayas in a 180 deg angle. Early morning sunrise view from Nagarkot hill station is the most fascinating and mesmerizing view for your life time. As you trek to Dhulikhel from Nagarkot onwards the trek offers an excellent view of the green rice paddy terraces, typical styles houses makes your journey more enjoyable. The main attractions of this hike are the fantastic panoramic mountain views and the many Buddhist stupas on the hilltops. Namo Budhha is also famous for growing rice, mustard and millet so you can see beautiful hillside terraced farms throughout the walk. Hiking to Namobuddha and Panauti from here is also an interesting religious / Buddhist pilgrimage trip as it has full of history.
