As a moderately strenuous trekking, this Everest Three Passes Trekking 23 days package basically consists of three passes: Renjola  Pass (5365m), Chola Pass (5420m) and Kongma La Pass(5535m) that is located in Everest region, it offers mind-blowing vista of majesti snow-clad mountains like Makalu (8463m), Cho Oyu ( 8201m) and Ama Dablam(6812m) to name a few. Proper acclimatization is required to gain physical strength to hike through the passes enjoying the enigmatic vista of the amazing mountain kingdom. Himalayan Wild Treks Pvt. This trek starts with flying to Lukla (2860m) from where trekkers walk uphill to Namche Bazaa (3440m), which is known as the Gateway to Everest (8848m). After acclimatization at Namche, trekkers take the route to Lungden, closed to the border of Tibet, via Thame (3820m).Thereafter, exploring the unique Sherpa culture and lifestyle, trekkers walk ahead to Renjo La Pass (5365m), which they will cross to reach Gokyo Ri (5330m ), from where they will have a beautiful vista of Mt. Everest (8848m)  and pristine glacial lake in the area. At Gokyo, the trekkers climb Gokyo Ri (5530m). Thereafter, hiking to Ngojumpa glacier, trekkers will have to cross Cho La Pass (5380m). As the trail proceeds ahead, trekkers can join the popular Khumbu Valley Trekking route and hike to Kala Patthar (5545m) and explore the Everest Base Camp. Then crossing the Kongmala Pass (5535m ), the trekkers trek to Chhukung  As the last pass Kongmala Pass (5535m)is done, from Chhukung Ri trekkers can have a clear view of Amadablam, Nuptse and Makalu. Accommodations in Kathmandu and Trekking
The team will take an accommodation in a three star hotel in Kathmandu. Nirvana Hotel will be the right choice for that matter, where the accommodations are available in double-shared basis. However, single supplement with slightly increased price can be provided depending on the demand of an individual. Himalayan Wild Treks can arrange rooms with attached bathrooms that have cold and hot water running 24/7 for shower and other purposes. However, there are teahouses that have shared washing and toilet arrangements during the trekking. Also, it is worth noting that single rooms are rare to find at higher elevations.


Physical Condition & Experience Requirements
This trek being a moderate of sort requires a good health of a person with ability to walk on the trail for at least five to seven hours carrying a light backpack. Walking at higher elevations require more physical stamina than at lower elevations but since this is an average route anyone with good health, willingness to walk and passion for travel can enjoy it. For the warm up, physical orientation needed for this elevation can be gained through various exercises that can be done prior to the commencement of the journey. In addition to the sound condition of heart, lung and entire setting of a body, past hiking experiences will be a plus point. Besides, it is advisable that those with any past health problems have to make sure that are medically able to walk on the trail. It is also advised that you inform Himalayan Wild Treks of any conditions before booking the trek.


Meals in Everest three Passes Trekking 
Typical Nepalese food is the specialty we will relish on our journey in addition to the international cuisine that is Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian and so on. Breakfast and dinner will be provided according to menu that is in the lodge or a guest house. As for the lunch, it will be provided on the way to the next destination. All meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner, will be provided during trekking while only breakfast will be available in Kathmandu and Pokhara. There will also be welcome and farewell dinners.


Best Time and season to Travel for Everest three Passes Trekking
As for the propitious seasons to carry out the trekking in the Everest Region, the suggestable time would be September to November and March to May. During these times, the visit will be showered with the arcane beauty of the nature and the outstanding landscape views. To avoid the traffic, you can choose any of the times from December to February. It is also to be informed that during the winter the temperature here goes down low that poses challenges to the travelers. Except for botanists, the trekking in this region in monsoon or summer that is from June to August can be impacted by the rain.

The following checklist should help you with your packing. As a general rule, you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum. The packed weight of your trek bag while trekking should be no more than 15 KG.

DETAILS ITINERARY:
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to a hotel in Thamel
On this day, you will be driven to your hotel after you are picked up at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.


Day 02 : Visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites along with preparation for the trekking.
We will provide you with a city guide who will guide you to the selected UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu.  In the end of the sightseeing, you might as well step into markets in case you are in the need to buy trekking gear.

Day 03 : Approximately 40 minutes flight to Lukla(2860m) followed by trekking to Phakding(2610m)
You will have a scenic flight to Lukla(2860m) which takes you about 40 minutes from Kathmandu then trek to Phakding(2610m) on the same day. From Lukla to Phakding it approximately takes you three hours. You hike along with Dudhkoshi River valley while encountering trekkers along with mules and yaks. Buddhists monuments and fluttering prayer flags are eye-catching sights.

Day 04 : Phakding to Namche (3440m)
From Phaking, you will enter Sagarmatha National Park, which is one of the most popular World Heritage Sites in Nepal. There are spectacular foreboding mountain views including Mt. Everest. You will feel the adrenaline rush all the way up to Namche(3440m), the Gateway to Everest. Namche is a spectacular Sherpa Village.

Day 05 : Acclimatization day at Namche (3440m)
In the morning you will hike up to the Hotel Everest View. In the afternoon you will explore Sherpa Museum at Namche, which is a picturesque Sherpa Village. Namche is a popular tourist spot all over the world, where you will meet warm hearted Sherpa people who will welcome you with their renown hospitality.

Day 06 : Trekking from Namche to Thame (3750m)
En route to Everest Base Camp, you will move along the Bhotekoshi river valley crossing Nyangpala Pass, which is known as a gateway of Tibet Nepal way in the old days. This is a bit longer than other days. The one way distance measures approximately 9.5km. It is notably a pleasant walk adorned with lots of natural vista.

Day 07 : Trekking from Thame(3750m) to Lungden(4300m)
Thame to Lungden is comparatively a short trekking that takes about 4 hours en route to Nangpa La Pass, which is a glaciated pass at Nepal Tibet border.The views on the way are eye-catching which obviously leaves indelible imprint in your memory.

Day 08: Exploration Day at Lungden (4300m)
Other than Namche, Lunngen is the second acclimatization point. On this day you will hike to surrounding areas where you will view hills and mountains at distance. Climbing high is recommended to you for the proper adjustment to the increasing and hostile altitude.

Day 09: Trekking from Lungden to Gokyo(4700m)
On the ninth day, you start your day reaching Ren Jo La, from where you can relish a great view. Some of the spectacular views are that of foreboding Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu and many tremendous mountain peaks including Cho-oyu above eight thousand meters in the distance.  For the great view, you will have to strt your day early. Then you will go back to Gokyo(4800m)

Day 10:  From Gokyo to Gokyo Ri(5357m) -  Exploration from Gokyo Ri
Early in the morning  we ascend Gokyo Ri, from where we can view majestic mountains, Gokkyo Lakes. Gokyo Ri is probably Nepal's best viewpoint. From Gokyo, you will reach Gokyo Ri in approxiately four hours.

Day 11: Trekking from Gokyo Ri to Thangnak (4700m)
On this day, you will have a strenuous hike to Thangnak from Gokyo Ri. There is a glacier section that has to be crossed. Since the distance is relatively shorter, our team can reach Thangnak by lunch time. Then we shall have the who day to explore the area and savour the view.

Day 12: Trekking from Thangnak to Zhongla (4800m) , via Chola Pass
On this day we have to start out hiking to avoid unpredictable occurrence of rock-fallings. In the midday, loosen rocks fall as the ice gets metled and no longer holds the rocks above the trail. Frozen times in the morning are more opportune as there is zero chances of rocks falling. After Chola Pass, there are no hostile sections to be crossed.

Day 13: Trekking from Zhongla to Lobuche(6119m)
You will have a breakfast and scale up savouring the picturesque and enchanting enigma of snow-claded peaks and venture into a pastureland before reaching Lobuche. If you walk with a normal pace, you are supposed to reach Lobuche by lunchtime.

Day 14: Trekking from Lobuche to Gorak Sep(5164m) with Exploration of Everest Base Camp(5545m) entailed.
On this day you will proceed west-ward of Khumbu Glacier and walk through a morain en route to Gorak Sep(5164m). After a light lunch at Gorak Sep, you will continue forward to Everest Base Camp. You will stroll around Everest Base Camp, the only courtyard of the world's famous peak.

Day 15 : Climbing Kala Patthar and trek to Lobuche(4940m)
Early in the morning you will ascend Kala Patthar before the daybreak. You will need a flashlight as it is still dark. As our reaching at the top of Kalapatthar coincides with the daybreak, we will be showered with the pleasure of mind-blowing mountain views. Then we return to lobuche for delicious breakfast.


Day 16 : Lobuche to Chhukung, passing Kongma La(5535m)
Following the upper moraine, the route today makes through complete wilderness. Walking gradually, enjoying adrenaline rush, we cross the glacier finally reaching a wall that is the base of Mt. Nuptse. Then we steadily climb Kongma La Pass at 5535m which is the highest of the three passes. Then will descend down to glacier pong and to Chhukung Village.

Day 17 : Trekking from Chhukung Village to climbing Chhukung Ri and explore the valley.
Chhukung Ri (5550m) is a permitted peak by NMA for climbing purpose. To climb Chhukung Ri, you don't need any climbing gears or equipment for that matter. You will devour the views of Mt. Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Baruntse, Amadablam, Cholatse, Thamserku, Kantega and Tawache from the thrilling summit of Chhukung Ri.

Day 18: Trekking from Chhukung Ri to Pangboche descent.
You will descend down to Pangboche from Chhukung Ri. Pangboche is a beautiful Sherpa village. Dibgboche is another Sherpa village  based in Imja Tse Valley.We shall have lunch at Pangboche and and explore the oldest monastery in Khumbu Valley.

Day 19 : Trekking from Pangboche to Namche(3440m)
On this day, everyone may rush off to Tenboche for hot shower. We pay a short visit to Tengboche then have a view of the mountain views in the area. After we visit we hike downwards to a river and take a path that leads us to Namche.

Day 20: Trekking from Namche to Lukla, the end of Everest Three Passes.
From Namche we track back to Lukla, where we wrap up the trekking. We celebrate a happy ending party in a lodge at Lukla.

Day 21 : Fly to Kathmandu from Lukla
On this day, we fly back to Kathmandu and drive to hotel from the airport. We will have plenty of time before - the rest of the day after a touch down at Tribhuwan International Airport.

Day 22 : Day for rest and sightseein in Kathmandu.
On this day you will visit Royal Palace, Durbar Squares, Swayambhunath and other UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu valley. Meanwhile, you can also buy souvenirs around the Kathmandu markets.

Day 23: The end of trekking and see off at the airport.
You will be driven to airport for the see off with a sweet hope for the reunion any time soon.
