Hungu Valley Mera Peak Climbing Trekking 15 Days is comprised of jungle safari, peak climbing and recreational exploration of diverse ethnic culture that is well encapsulated with wide ranging flora and fauna. A flight from Kathmandu(1400m) to Phaplu 7,918 feet (2,413 m), a short visit to Silichho Peak(4156m) and Salpa Lake(3500m) , Khongmadingma Valley(4065) unveiling the path to Mera Peak(6476m) is the major outlines of the trail, which has its ending at Lukla (2860m).
 

A twelve hours bus drive to Mahakulung or a tentatively 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu(1400) to Phaplu(2413m) opens up a hiking towards Mahakulung(1900m) , a large Kulung Community of three villages Gudel, Bung and Chheskam.  As the hiking initiates, the trail winds forward camping in the beautiful jungles, pastures and rustic settlements inhabited by Khaling and other ethnic groups. En route to Mahakulung valley, leaving the imprints of footsteps, the trekkers move  through picturesque settlements like  Chyalsa( 2561m) and Budidada(19023m). Mahakulung inhabited primarily by Kulung people is rich in diverse culture and wide range of flora and fauna. Trekkers can opt for Silichho (4156m) and Salpa(4000) in Mahakulung with an addition of three more days to the itinerary. Silicho Peak is religiously venerated as the abode of God and a  famous viewpoint for Everst (8848m), Amadablam(6812m), Lhotse(8516m), Kanchenjunga(8586m), Makalu(8463m), Cho Oyu(8201m) ,Nuptse(7855m) ,Chamlang(7319m) and more than 22 other peaks. On the ascend to Silichho, pristine Salpa Lake (4000m), a lake religiously believed to have healing power enchants with peace and tranquility.
 

Trailing ahead, the path thereafter takes the tourists via Muddhi(2130m), Dobhan(2723m), Watelma(2905m), all the way to Khongmadingma Valley(4065m),from where the trekkers set off for Mera Peak(6476m) leaving Amphu Lapcha(5845m) aside. Having ascended  Mera Peak , the trail then proceeds through wide range of flora and fauna while continuing through Khare(5045m), Kothe(3691m), Chhutanga(4358m) en route to Lukla(2860m), where the trekking formally ends.

#Hungu Valley Mera Peak Climbing Trekking : How to Reach?
We take a flight to Phaplu, or take a jeep to Bung, optionally, after a sightseeing of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. Then we visit Gudel, a Kulung settelement, then traversing to Muddi, a beauituful wilderness, continuing ahead to Dovan, Watelma and Gopichour,which are remote settlements studded with natural beauty. Continuing ahead, we arrive at Khongmadingma Valley from where we proceed to Mera Base Camp, where we acclimatize. Thereafter, we ascend Mera High Camp to summit Mera Peak , followed by a tracing back to Khare. We then move down to Kothe en route to Chhatarbu. Proceeding ahead, we arrive at Lukla, where we spend the last night with a flight to Kathmandu the next morning.
