Kongde Peak Climbing (6011m) is one of the most famous trekking peaks in Everest Trekking Region.The Cost for Kongde Peak Climbing varies accroding to trekking agencies. Among the world over mountaineers, it is popular as Kongde Ri as well. From the summit of Kongde, travelers enjoy the panoramic view of Sherpa settlements and breathtaking mountain views. Some of which are Ama Dablam, Makalu, Everest and Cho Oyu. With its formidable towering structure as seen from Namche, Kongde Peak needs to be hiked all the way through alpine vegetations, settlements and rivers on the course of reaching Kongde Base Camp.

Technically stating, Kogde Peak Climbing starts with a sightseeing of the major UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley, followed by a scenic flight to Tenjzing Hillary Airport at Lukla(2860m). From Lukla, the climbing team will hike towards Namche, where a day's acclimatization is required to better adapt to the new climatic zone of Everest Region. After the acclimatization, the team will hike down until they reach a river named Bhote Koshi. Having crossed the river, a hike straight up to the Kongde Base Camp (5380m) takes commencement. There will be a short introductory climbing training and practice at the Base Camp prior to scaling the peak. After the team successfully puts its foot at the summit, they will trace back the same route to Namche, then arriving at Lukla to end the wonderful adventure.

Kongde Peak Difficulty
Kongde Peak is not a stroll in the park. Like other peaks in the Everest Region, the mountain kingdom, Kongde Peak poses its own kind of challeges to the travelers. Situated at 6011 meters and categorized as group B climbing peak of Nepal, we camp to move further. We may also undergo severe cold condition at the base camp as the temperature tends to drop below zero. Altitude sickess caused by the scarcity of the oxygen might be another hindrance which we can avoid with proper intake of acclimatization.

Kongde Peak Best Season
Kongde Peak is basically summitted throughout the year. On the basis of what the tourists favour most, we can refer you two seasons : Spring and Autumn. We are obviously constrained by your nature of time and any season is feasible for the organization of the climbing. Winter season may be the best in terms of traffic, but rather hostile because of excessive cold. Summer season is neither too cold nor too hot, but the intermittent rains could ruin  your expectation at times. You will have to deal with the weather that keeps fluctuating.

The price mentioned above is set by Nepal Mountaineering Association and brought in effect for every one to abide by. The price remains constant and does not change until the following amendment is made. Spring is comparatively more expensive because it is the best of all seasons.

Kongde Peak Weather
Kongde Peak Weather can vary based on primarily what season you are trekkig in the region. The spring weather in the months of March, April and May remains clean and beautiful. Besides, autumn wether in the months of September, October and Onvember is slightly colder as compared to Spring but popular for the most crystal clear weather. On the contrary, the months of June, July  and August can be loathsome because of the intermittent overcast and rainfall. But then again we can still find travelers in the months of August. Regarding winter, it is thought to be comparatively colder but still tourists are found enjoying trekking in these months.

Kongde Peak Physical Fitness
Kongde Peak is regarded as one of the most challenging peaks and the adventure it offers comes up with certain level of difficulty. Therefore having a certain level of physical fitness is a must. You will have to walk more than six to seven hours a day, through the complex terrain of the Everest Region, which in itself can prove to be strenuous.
