Mt. Annapurna South Expedition includes the climbing of Mount Annapurna South in Annapurna Region which was first climbed by Mourice Herzong and Louis Lachenal in 1950. The cost for Annapurna South differs agency to agency.  Local and international companies have common margin falling between USD $0000 and USD $000 whereas Himalayan Wild Treks has limited it to USD $0000 for the same. In addition, Himalayan Wild Treks also offers updated Mt. Annapurna South Expedition Map and flexible Mt. Annapurna South Expedition Itinerary.

The path moves higher towards higher altitude through the rhododendron forests offering the view of Annapurna mountain and Machha purchhre towards  a river named Modikhola. The Base Camp for Annapurna South is at 4000 m. its advanced Base Camp between Annapurna South and Hiuchuli. Camp 2 is located at 5970m, Camp 3 is located at 6400m. The summit push from Camp 3 includes multiple snowy slopes.  From the top of Annapurna the climbers also get to view stunning Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range.

Annapurna South is the 10th highest mountain that is actually an extension of Mount Hiuchuli. The favored times for Annapurna South climbing is October to May. The path to Annapurna South Expedtion includes phenomenally touristic icons like Ghandruk, Tadapani and Kopra. The trail leads through meadows and verdant magnolia and rhododendron forests and the Annapurna South Base Camp lies right below Annapurna South.  In the point of view of complexity, Annapurna South is slightly more adventurous and more technical than Everest.

Annapurna South Expedition starts with sightseeing of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu while doing formal paperwork that is followed by drive to Nayapul(1070m), a town nearby  Pokhara (800m).
