Pikey Peak Trekking starts with a brief sightseeing of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley (1400m), before  driving to Dhap (2900m) traversing ahead to Jhyapre (2920m). After that we hike up to PK Base Camp (3640m) the to PK Peak (3785m). Having enjoyed the stunning mountain views, we then trek to Loding (2515m) hiking towards Junbesi (3614m) from where we reach out to Phaplu (2469m). Then we take a flight back to Kathmandu, bringing the Pikey (PK) Peak Trekking to an end.

#Pikey Peak Trekking Highlights:
PK Peak starts with a sightseeing of the major UNESCO Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. This peak is led by a completely off the beaten trail in the hardly touched land of Solukhumbu. This trail also leads you through verdant forest, exotic landscape, typical Sherpa and Tamang settlements and medium passes on the trail. If you take a flight, you will also cherish the stunning view of glistening mountain ranges on the skyway to Phaplu, which is a well-settled tiny administrative town in Solukhumbu. The peak itself will show you 360 degree mountain range views including the top of the world, Mt. Everest. This trekking is phenomenal in terms of fitness and wilderness.


#Pikey Peak Best Season
Basically there are four distinct seasons when in regards to PK Peak season. Spring Season includes the months of March, April and May which is the months of flowering and greenery in the hilly jungles. Autumn is the next beautiful season which comprises of September, October and November. Autumn is famous for peace and tranquility in the air with a temperature that is neither too cold nor too hot. Besides, we have the months of December, January and February under Winter whereas Summer: June, July and August are the fourth of the seasons. Spring and Autumn are favored by the majority of the travelers while Winter and Summer are less chosen months.

#Pikey Peak Physical Fitness
PK Peak is not a strenuous one so any traveler with average fitnes can cherish the true adventure the peak has to offer. Prior experience of walking on the hilly terrain would be helpful but any traveler with normal walking ability can do PK Peak trekking with ease. However, physical fitness is not something we can downplay or turn our blind eyes to. There are cases in which physically obese travelers have found the tekking intensely strenuous and physically fit people have reportedly enjoyed every step of the journey. The trekking itself is sort of a walk for fitness and fresh air, which will make you feel rejuvenated when the mountain views mesmerize you.


#Pikey Peak Trekking Weather
PK Peak can be reachable any given time of the year. Except for summer or monsoon, when PK Peak normally receives the rainfall and forecast days, all the seasons are recommendable. As experienced travelers state, PK Peak is famous as a signle viewpoint for the 360 degree view of the mountains as the travelers cherish and capture the panorma of the exotic land with snowclad distant mountains. Mostly the weather of Autumn and Spring are favorable when the weather remains the clearest and the temperature remains the calmest. After devouring the 360 degree view of the mountains in the distance from PK Peak, we traverese into Junbesi (3614m) a beautiful Sherpa village, from where we follow a rustic trajectory that finally brings us at Phaplu (2469m), ending the trekking which is followed afterwards by a flight back to kathmandu.

What to Bring for Pikey Peak Trekking
The following checklist should help you with your packing. As a general rule, you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum. The packed weight of your trek bag while trekking should be no more than 15 KG.
