Renjo la Pass Gokyo Lake Chola Pass Everest Base Camp Trekking is one of the highly recommended  trekking trail in Khumbu region. This Trekking route is very famous because you able to visit all the Everest region popular places in a single trip. This mind-blowing trekking trail leads you towards through the incredible high passes Renjo La (5340m) and Cho La (5520m). And also approach of reaching Kalapathar and Everest Base Camp (5545m). This gorgeous trekking starts from Lukla after 45 minutes flights from Kathamndu and way goes along the Dudh Koshi River to the Namche Bazar. Spending some extra dyas in Namche as acclimatization and exploring beautiful Sherpa village Khumjung/ khunde/Everest view hotel  will make you more energetic. And the way goes through the  Thame, Renjo Pass,Gokyo Ri, Chola Pass, Kalapathar and Everest Base Camp and to back via popular places like Dingbochhe ,Tengboche & Namche Bazaar is another highlights of this trekking.

 

In this this trekking you get an opportunities to have magnificent views of world highest mountains and experience unique and traditional lifestyle and culture of Sherpa people, the world renowned mountaineers, endangered wildlife species like musk deer, pheasants, flora and fauna.

 

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu in International Airport
Day 02: fly to Lukla (2800m) Phakding (2640m) Overnight.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446m).
Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization.
Day 05: Trek to Thame (3820m). 5 and ½ hours walk.
Day 06: Trek to Lungdeng (4500m). About 6 hours walk.
Day 07: Trek to Yak kharka camp below the Renjo La about 4950m. 4 hours walk.
Day 08: Trek over the Renjo pass (5340m) and Gokyo (4790m). About 7 hours walk with the pass.
Day 09: Explore Gokyo RI -three hours to climb the summit for rewarding views, Makalu, chhoyou, MT. Everest, Bhorunche, and many others all round mountains. And back to Gokyo overnight here.
Day 10: Trek to THANGNAK (4950M.)
Day 11: Trek to DZONGLA (4830M.)
Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep (5160m.)
Day 13: Excursion to Kalapatther (5550m) for magnificent views of the major eastern Himalayan peaks including Everest B.C. Return to Gorakshep.
Day 14: Trek to Dingbouche (4410m). 5 hours walk.
Day 15: Trek to TENGBUCHE(3900m) 5 and 1/2 hours walk.
Day 16: Trek to NAMCHE (3440m.) 5 hours walk
Day 17: LUKLA (2800m.)
Day 18: KATHMANDU


 



What to Bring ?

The following checklist should help you with your packing. As a general rule, you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum. The packed weight of your trek bag while trekking should be no more than 15 KG.

  • Waterproof overtrousers / rainpants
  • Baselayer Hiking boots Socks
  • Trekking trousers / pants
  • shirts
  • Casual shirt and/or T-shirts
  • Fleece jacket or warm jumper/sweater
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Sunhat Warm hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Thermal gloves
  • Warm and waterproof over gloves or mittens
  • Headtorch/Headlamp with spare bulb and batteries
  • Sun protection (including total bloc for lips, nose etc.)
  • Water bottles 1 L. Antibacterial handwash
  • Small towel Daypack,25/30Litres
  • Trekking poles
  • Sleeping bag 4 or 5 season * (rated down to – 20ºC)
  • Warm jacket (down)*

 

Medical

  • Small, personal first-aid kit. (Simple and light)
  • Aspirin, first-aid tape, and plasters (Band-Aids)
  • 1 skin-blister repair kit
  • Anti-diarrhea pills
  • Anti-headache pills
  • Cough and/or cold medicine
  • Anti-altitude sickness pills: Diamox or Acetylzolamide
  • Stomach antibiotic: Ciprofloxacin, etc.
  • Do not bring sleeping pills as they are a respiratory depressant.
  •  Water purification tablets or water filter
  • 1 set of earplugs Extra pair of prescription glasses, contact lens supplies.
