Hattiban Rock Climbing is carried out in a village called Hattiban, which  is a picturesque village, at an hour's distance(approx. 26 minutes) from Kathmandu. There are more than ten different routes to the climbing site.Driving to Hattiban is memorable as we move past beautiful temples and traditional cities as the morning sunlight fall on them. From the stop it is apprximately twenty minutes journey from the stop.

Hattiban Rock climbing is a must for Mountain Guides, however amateur climbers can opt for rock climbing if and when they have extra few days spared in Kathmandu. Rock climbing is not obviously the inevitable part of mountain climbing, but of course it gives confidence or warm-up for the actual climbing of the mountains and for that reason, it can be organized upon request. Autumn and spring are the best times for Hattiban Rock climbing whereas summer can be slippery as it keeps raining time and again.

As the rock faces the south, there is the sunlight from morning till evening and climbing here is an unforgottable fun and adventure. Our company provides information regarding the site, lunch, climbing instruments and highly professional IFMGA field guides to ensure the successful climbing of the rock. And there are monasteries where you can stay and meditate feeling the peace and tranquility , away from all the hustle and bustle of the noisy town.

You will drive from  Bulku, a bus stop and travel south for about an hour until finally you reach Dallu, that is where you get off the bus and start walking towards the climbing site.
